Do you remember the last time you went to a Drive-In? I do, I was with Marcia and Heidi and Marcias dad drove us to Miller to see
Goonies....talk about a long time ago! Last night Donette took the kids and I and her grandson Glen to see
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and
Shorts. Cloudy was alright, some moments of laughter on my part and let me just say having a house made out of jello is genious! That might just be my new dream house! Bouncing all over the place...being able to walk through the jello walls....sounds like a lot of fun right! The other movie
Shorts....stupid! We didn't even stay to watch the entire movie. The commercials made it look funny but believe me, it was NOT! We went to leave the theater and guess what happened. Donette turned the key and......nothing....battery was totally drained. We had to get someone that worked at the theater bring their camoflaged golf cart over and give us a jump. Apparently that happens a lot there because on their website it specifies that they can jump you if needed.
It was such a fun night...thanks for inviting us to come along and experience the drive-in movie....it brought back a lot of memories for me and it made memories for the kids.
I feel like these guys are in a movie instead of being at the movies.
