darn dog made me tired and grumpy

I am exhausted and it is only partly my fault. Saturday I took Jackies beds out to let them air out a little bit. They are covered in hair and I am sure they smell (I decided against doing the smell test and just went with that they smell) I forgot them outside and Sunday it rained (I know...good call right) So after I realized I left them out there in the rain I put them under the covered porch to dry out.
To give you a little back ground, neither one of my dogs will sleep on the floor. Angel has to be either in her chair or on my bed and Jack has to either be on my bed or on his bed....there is no exception with these 2. What can I say, they like comfort (can you blame them, we have no carpet in our house)
Sunday night Jack started out on my bed (like normal) but at some point during the night Aaron came in. He must have had a bad dream or something. He is extremely quiet when he comes in because I haven't heard him for years (yes, you heard me correctly, I said years) He crawls up and lays on the foot of the bed, sure not to disturb us. Lately he has been sleeping on Jacks bed (I heard that gasp...I never claimed to be mother of the year) He has been laying there lately because 1. Jack is on my bed and 2. Matt told him to stop climbing into the bed because he takes up to much room. So he has been sleeping there. Sunday night when he had his bad dream and came in to my room there was no doggy bed for him and Jack was on my bed so Aaron made his way on to my bed and made himself comfortable. This disrupted jack so he jumped off the bed and started walking around looking for a place to lie down. Every few minutes disturbing me because he would jump on my bed and wake me up. This went on forever! Finally Matt got up to shower for work so jack jumped in to his place and went to sleep and stopped disturbing me. Needless to say this is the main reason why the kids and I over slept Monday morning.
Last night was almost the same scenario. The only difference was at 1:30 Jack woke me up because he needed to go outside to use the bathroom. Surprisingly we didn't over sleep this morning but it did make me wake a little grumpy.
I might be a slow learner but now we have brought the beds inside to hopefully eliminate this from happening again.
